Life from the start with BabyBeara, one of the most anticipated babies of 2009.

Born December 18th, 2009 at 3:58 PM weighing in at 9lbs 5oz and measuring 21.5 inches.

1st Doctors visit: Weighed 9lbs 2oz and measured 21.5 inches. 1 week later returned and weighed in at 9lbs 10oz.

Current Achievements:
Lifting head, almost putting it back down softly.
Pushing up with arms and moving head.
Can shoot long distances :)

Mommy sounds like a growling dog when she plays with me!

8oz Baby

We returned to the doctor today after our one week sentence of formula 3 times a day. First off it took 3 days just to get him to take the formula, so I’m taking some credit for the weight gain here.

The nurse took us in and we weighed. Last week we were 9lbs 2oz, this week we came in at 9lbs 10oz, putting us 2oz over what the doctor wanted to see. I think it was partially in thanks to this growth spurt that’s been making him eat tons more. Which last night, he ate normal according to schedule every two hours.

So we are good, no more weigh ins, just returning for our immunizations next month, which we dread. I’m probably going to cry for him, I hate to see him upset so in pain is beyond my level of emotional tolerance. This guy has my heart wrapped around his finger and he doesn’t even know it yet. I’m doomed when he finds out.
