Took a Break... Sleep Deprived... Insert Excuse.
It’s apparent NOTHING has happened from this tumblr in awhile, the truth is, we took a break. Okay, the truth is I am a parent! Swing, Swing!
It’s been hard to communicate to my husband how difficult it is to do anything around the house right now with the baby. Israel has become… clingy… which I take most of the responsibility for. I say most because I can’t help I’m so darn love able that the boy won’t let me go. But the same goes for him, gosh I can’t put the cute little body of rolls down...

8oz Baby
We returned to the doctor today after our one week sentence of formula 3 times a day. First off it took 3 days just to get him to take the formula, so I’m taking some credit for the weight gain here.
The nurse took us in and we weighed. Last week we were 9lbs 2oz, this week we came in at 9lbs 10oz, putting us 2oz over what the doctor wanted to see. I think it was partially in thanks to this...

Our First Outing?
I’m about to take Baby Beara out by myself for the first time, Target. Will he be nice to me? We will see…
Actually I have to get ready first, so getting out the door will be my first challenge. But I just fed him so he should be okay for another 2-3 hours. So let’s cross our fingers and see if we can do this, just Momma and Baby… because I’m out of organic milk.

I Failed at the Doctor?
Today was Baby Beara’s first doctor visit and wouldn’t you know he didn’t pass? The boy isn’t eating enough! His birth weight was 9lbs 5oz and he’s now at 9lbs 2.4oz, so the doctor sentenced him to formula, three times a day.
I’m going to say it’s not TMI, it’s just life, but we are breast feeding. I plan to breast feed at least for a year so...

The Story of My Arrival
Getting Baby here was a long process. We announced that we were being induced on the 16th, water broke on the 17th and it didn’t happen. They gave me a treatment to soften the cervix Wednesday night and put me on a drip to start contractions Thursday morning and nothing happened, I wouldn’t dilate. So after a long tiring day my doctor could only offer me two options, try again or go...
